Sustainable Forestry

The WI SIC collaboratively promotes and facilitates sustainable forest management by example and by providing guidance, assistance and education – including competitive grants – to forest industry professionals, private forest owners, educators, researchers and others supporting the National SFI® principles. Grants are awarded in these categories: Forest Professionals Education & Training, Private Non-Industrial Forest Outreach, Public Outreach, and Forestry Research. For 2026 grants, the deadline to submit an application is October 20, 2025.
